Dr. Emily Edwards

She attended Missouri State University for her undergraduate studies, majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology and graduating from the Honors College. Dr. Edwards is a member of the Missouri Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. During her time in optometry school, Dr. Edwards was involved with Lions Club, Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, and SVOSH (Student Volunteers in Optometric Services for Humanity). With SVOSH, she had the opportunity to serve in underprivileged communities in Honduras, Mexico, Colombia, and Haiti providing eye exams and glasses. Dr. Edwards also had the opportunity to intern in rural Alaska during optometry school, serving the native population. In her free time, she likes to adventure/travel, garden, cook for friends, be involved at her church, and spend time with family.
